"Previously on Lost..." voice?

Who says "Previously on Lost..." Is it John Terry (the actor who plays
Christian Shepard)? Is it because he has a great voice for such
things? Or is it because of some other reason, not yet known --
something that makes him especially important to this story?

Who says "Previously on Lost..."
According to Lostpedia, it's either Carlton Cuse or Lloyd Braun:

Yeah, I remember it was Lloyd Braun during the first year. But since
they really haven't changed it, have they?

Sounds the same to me. Here's the source of the confusion about Cuse:

In the 02/13/06 podcast, Carlton Cuse is asked whose voice says
"Previously on Lost". He replies that it is a mystery person. Carlton
also denies that he is the voice.
As Damon Lindelof read him the question, he instructed Carlton not to
reveal the true identity of the person.
They also specifically deny that Tim Daly does the voice.
In a 07/14/06 post on thefuselage.com, Gregg Nations says that Carlton
Cuse does the voice.
During the DVD commentary for "There's No Place Like Home, Parts 2 &
3" Damon Lindelof mentions that, contrary to popular belief, the voice
is not his.

Sounds nothing like him to me......OK, perhaps a very poorly sounding
Worf.....after a dodgy plate of Gagh and a few too many Bloodwines, but
other than that.....can't see it myself (or hear it, rather).

He's speaking in his normal (voice over) voice, not his Worf voice.

I don't think so. It sounds familiar. It seems like I've heard it on
documentary voice-overs.

I'm telling you that its Carlton Cuse. You don't have to believe me,
but it's the truth.

If you want to get technical, listen to some official lost podcasts...
you can tell that it's his voice.

Thanks, everyone, for your ideas on this topic. Ultimately, the voice
is probably Jacob's, I think.

Yes, the voice sounds the same as I remember it from the first season.

Hiring Lloyd Braun to say "Previously on Lost...." is sort of an inside
joke:

Lloyd Braun was the ABC executive who greenlighted Lost back in 2004.
Other ABC execs like Michael Eisner and Bob Iger were furious with him,
because they figured Lost would be a flop and figured that Braun was
wasting millions of dollars of money on it. So they fired him.

Well, Lost went on to be a big 6 season hit, and Eisner and Iger have
sung its praises ever since.

But Lloyd Braun is still fired.
