Neil Frogurt Interview

May 22, 2006 interview by e-online the segment to follow, but here is my
question.

Apparently the red shirt Neil Frogurt, has already appeared on Lost. But
the actor has NOT been cast. This may be double speak for the movie
industry, but I can not reconcile this concept, except the character has
been played, but the actor playng the role has not been cast and credited
yet? Can anyone in the know, explain this? (I have a feeling that Neil
Frogurt will play a major part in season 3.)



Jennifer Godwin (JG): A lot of the redshirts have a kind of following
among the fans. Would you bring forward one of actors who's been playing
sort of a background role like a Craig or a Steve/Scott--
Carlton Cuse (CC): Neil Frogurt!
JG: Yes, Frogurt.
CC: Neil Frogurt. Adam [Horowitz] and Eddie Kitsis, who write on the
show--would you like to comment on Neil Frogurt arriving on the show next
year?
Adam Horowitz (AH): I would say that I can neither confirm nor deny, but
what I can say is Neil Frogurt is very close to my heart. And hopefully to
the hearts of a lot of Americans. That is the hope.
CC: You could probably go a little further with what you say.
JG: Tell me more, tell me more!
AH: We are working diligently to bring Neil Frogurt on the air.
JG: Have you cast him?
AH: No.

Frogurt = Alvar Hanso = Smokey = Adam Cave Corpse = Lagoon Corpse...
could be anyone!

I have a feeling they're going to do some sort of time jump in tonight's
finale... this is purely a hunch... but they're either going into the
future a few weeks, or back into the past...

Well, he was supposed to be part of the crowd scene in "SOS." Bernard asked
someone to invite him to join the crew on the beach where he was going to
make his spiel about putting the SOS signal together. There were a few
unidentified redshirts in that scene. Frogurt could have been one, but he
didn't have to be ("Screw that! Tell Bernard I'm busy!")
